Dear Family of Mary!

"Dear children! Also today, I am calling you to return to prayer. In this time of grace, God has permitted me to lead you towards holiness and a simple life - that in little things you discover God the Creator; that you fall in love with Him; and that your life be a thanksgiving to the Most High for everything He is giving you. Little children, in love, may your life be a gift for others and God will bless you; but you, witness without interest - out of love for God. I am with you and intercede before my Son for all of you. Thank you for having responded to my call." (November 25, 2016)

In our quest to follow Our Lady's November 25, 2016 message, as she leads us in simplicity and holiness, it seems that pondering the goodness of God will help us. God's goodness is everywhere to behold. But we so often live an entire day without beholding it, wondering at it, or celebrating it.

Our Lady gave us this message about God's goodness:

"Dear Children! Today I invite you to go into nature because there you will meet God the Creator. Today I invite you, little children, to thank God for all that He gives you. In thanking Him you will discover the Most High and all the goods that surround you. Little children, God is great and His love for every creature is great. Therefore, pray to be able to understand the love and goodness of God. In the goodness and the love of God the Creator, I also am with you as a gift. Thank you for having responded to my call."  (October 25, 1995)

I personally need to follow Our Lady's advice. I am getting too stressed already about Christmas and my work and responsibilities. Anxiety and stress are NOT good! They are NOT of God!! Simplicity and trust ARE good!   I also found this passage from St. Faustina. It is helpful:

O inconceivable goodness of God, which shields us at every step, may Your mercy be praised without cease. That You became a brother to humans, not to angels, is a miracle of the unfathomable mystery of Your mercy. All our trust is in You, our first-born Brother, Jesus Christ, true God and true Man. My heart flutters with joy to see how good God is to us wretched and ungrateful people. And as a proof of His love, He gives us the incomprehensible gift of Himself in the person of His Son. Throughout all eternity we shall never exhaust that mystery of love. O mankind, why do you think so little about God being truly among us? O Lamb of God, I do not know what to admire in You first: Your gentleness, Your hidden life, the emptying of Yourself for the sake of man, or the constant miracle of Your mercy, which transforms souls and raises them up to eternal life. Although   You are hidden in this way, Your omnipotence is more manifest here than in the creation of man. Though the omnipotence of Your mercy is at work in the justification of the sinner, yet Your action is gentle and hidden. (1584 Diary)

Let's pray for each other, that we can all immerse ourselves in the goodness of God. It will be a healing balm for our souls. Something we all need!

Mary TV: November 29, 2016 Reflection - God has permitted me to lead you towards holiness and a simple life

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2016

November 29, 2016

Dear Family of Mary!

I am tickled pink that in this first week of Advent we are presented with this Scripture about being simple, like children. What a way to start off the Season of Waiting for the Lord!

Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,
"I give you praise, Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
for although you have hidden these things
from the wise and the learned
you have revealed them to the childlike.
Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will.... (Lk 10:21)

It always amazes me that Jesus would say such a thing! He was a grown man, he knew how society worked, He knew about power and authority and control. And yet, He rejoiced in the Holy Spirit because the wonders of the Father's love and will were only accessible to children and those whose hearts were childlike. Wisdom was revealed to the childlike. It was a source of great merriment and joy for Jesus!!

We might ask ourselves if we really buy what Jesus is rejoicing about. Do we see the irony? In a world where the clever and cruel seem to be on top, do we actually believe that it is the childlike who see things for what they are? Do we understand that the true power in the world lies in trustful surrender to the One who created us all? Do we live out of that great truth?

Our Lady is trying to help us get back to the childlike spirit that Jesus rejoices over:

"Dear children! Also today, I am calling you to return to prayer. In this time of grace, God has permitted me to lead you towards holiness and a simple life - that in little things you discover God the Creator; that you fall in love with Him; and that your life be a thanksgiving to the Most High for everything He is giving you. Little children, in love, may your life be a gift for others and God will bless you; but you, witness without interest - out of love for God. I am with you and intercede before my Son for all of you. Thank you for having responded to my call." (November 25, 2016)

God is allowing Our Lady to lead us towards holiness and a simple life. She wants to help us become childlike. Hurrah!! This is great news. This Advent, we might ask Our Lady to work on us so that we become more simple. If we could grow a little bit each day in simplicity of life, trusting in the Father, thanking Him for everything, enjoying everything He gives us, falling in love with the Father and doing everything for Him, we might find ourselves ready for the Birth of Jesus!!

Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,
"I give you praise, Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
for although you have hidden these things
from the wise and the learned
you have revealed them to the childlike.
Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will.... (Lk 10:21)

Dearest Father, reveal to us everything we need to know through Our Mother!  We want to be your children, completely trusting in your providence and care.  We want to the the childlike!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

Dear Family of Mary!

I am struck with the simplicity of this message. Our Lady does not call us to approach God through long hours of study. She tells us that God is allowing her to lead us towards holiness and a simple life! This is something she can do so well! Our Lady is so holy, and so simple. And she shines with the joy of heaven!

St. Faustina understood Our Lady's simplicity as well. At the beginning of Advent, 1937, St. Faustina wrote this:

Advent is approaching. I want to prepare my heart for the coming of the Lord Jesus by silence and recollection of spirit, uniting myself with the Most Holy Mother and faithfully imitating Her virtue of silence, by which she found pleasure in the eyes of God Himself. I trust that by Her side, I will persevere in this resolution. (Diary 1398)

St. Faustina desired to be united with Our Lady, to stay very close to her, so that she could grow in holiness. It was Our Lady's silence and recollection of spirit that Faustina wanted to imitate. I believe that the simple life that Our Lady offers us is that life of silence and recollection, a life in which we ponder and wonder at everything in creation, because it is all a gift of the Father.

I propose that we all pray as St. Faustina did, so that this Advent will be one prolonged prayer of thanksgiving to God for all He has done for us, and a silent preparation for the coming of Jesus. What could be better!!

Dear Family of Mary!
August 25, 1988 "Dear children! Today I invite you all to rejoice in the life which God gives you. Little children, rejoice in God, the Creator, because He has created you so wonderfully. Pray that your life be joyful thanksgiving which flows out of your heart like a river of joy. Little children, give thanks unceasingly for all that you possess, for each little gift which God has given you, so that a joyful blessing always comes down from God upon your life. Thank you for having responded to my call."

St. Faustina wrote this most beautiful hymn of thanksgiving and praise! Through it we can rejoice in God, our Creator!

Be adored, O our Creator and Lord.
O universe, humbly glorify your God;
Thank your Creator to the best of your powers
And praise God's incomprehensible mercy.

Come, O earth, in all your fine greenery;
Come, you too, O fathomless sea.
Let your gratitude become a loving song ,
And sing the greatness of God's mercy.

Come, beautiful, radiant sun.
Come, bright dawn which precedes it.
Join in one hymn, and let your clear voices
Sing in one accord God's great mercy.

Come, hills and valleys, sighing woods and thickets,
Come, lovely flowers of morningtide;
Let your unique scent
Adore and glorify God's mercy.

Come, all you lovely things of earth,
Which man does not cease to wonder at.
Come, adore God in your harmony,
Glorifying God's inconceivable mercy.

Come, indelible beauty of all the earth,
And, with great humility, adore your Creator,
For all things are locked in His mercy,
With one mighty voice all things cry out;
how great is the mercy of God.

But above all these beauties,
A more pleasing praise to God
Is a soul innocent and filled with childlike trust,
Which, through grace, is closely bound to Him. (1750 Diary)

November 23, 2016 Reflection - Dear children, satan's plan has failed

Dear Family of Mary!

Our Lady was leading the parish in the early 80's. She was building up the parish to be a center of prayer and faith, so that she could then reach out to the entire world from Medjugorje. I discovered these three messages that were given in three successive weeks to the parish. They tell a story.

First, Our Lady spoke to the parish about the value of trials:
August 22, 1985 "Dear children! Today I wish to tell you that God wants to send you trials which you can overcome by prayer. God is testing you through daily chores. Now pray to peacefully withstand every trial. From everything through which God tests you come out more open to God and approach Him with love. Thank you for having responded to my call."

Our Lady wanted the people to be able to endure trials with constancy and faith. She told them that God allows trials in order to strengthen them. The key is to keep the peace they have in prayer and in faith. With that peace, they can withstand the trail and come out of it stronger and more in love with God. This is very important advice for all of us.
But the next week Our Lady made it clear that satan is often in the trials that the parishioners endured. The enemy wants to use the trials they face to rob them of their peace and to insert his own plan into their lives:
August 29, 1985 "Dear children! I am calling you to prayer! Especially since satan wishes to take advantage of the yield of your vineyards. Pray that satan does not succeed in his plan. Thank you for having responded to my call."

It is good to recognize the temptations that satan inflicts upon us. If we are aware of his influence, we can renounce him, and turn everything over to Jesus. If we pray for protection and strength to resist the enemy, he will flee. God's plan will then move forward.
But what do we do when we succeed in defeating the enemy's plan?
September 5, 1985 "Dear children! Today I thank you for all the prayers. Keep on praying all the more so that satan will be far away from this place. Dear children, satan's plan has failed. Pray for fulfillment of what God plans in this parish. I especially thank the young people for the sacrifices they have offered up. Thank you for having responded to my call."

Clearly, we don't stop praying, and we don't take a vacation! Our Lady instructs us to keep on praying!! To pray for the fulfillment of God's plan for us, and to also pray that satan stays away. We must remain vigilant, and grow in our love of God through prayer.

So as we find ourselves at the end of the Jubilee Year of Mercy, in which many victories have been won, we don't want to take a vacation from prayer. Now is the time to move forward, take more ground, move ahead in faith, and never give up!!

Dear Family of Mary!

As we near the end of November, let's again remember to pray for the Poor Souls in Purgatory. Our Lady gives this advice:
Wednesday, July 21, 1982
"There are many souls in Purgatory. There are also persons who have been consecrated to God: some priests, some religious. Pray for their intentions, at least 7 Our Father's, Hail Mary's and Glory Be's and the Creed. I recommend it to you. There is a large number of souls who have been in Purgatory for a long time because no one prays for them."

Monday, January 10, 1983
Questioned on the subject of Purgatory, the Blessed Virgin says:
"There are different levels of which the lowest are close to Hell and the highest gradually draw near to Heaven. It is not on All Souls Day, but at Christmas, that the greatest numbers of souls leave Purgatory. There are in Purgatory, souls who pray ardently to God, but for whom no relative or friend prays for them on earth. God makes them benefit from the prayers of other people. It happens that God permits them to manifest themselves in different ways, close to their relatives on earth, in order to remind men of the existence of Purgatory, and to solicit their prayers close to God who is just, but good. The majority go to Purgatory. Many go to Hell. A small number go directly to Heaven."

Purgatory is very real. It is sobering to realize that the majority of us go first to Purgatory. And it is also sobering to know that our prayers are so necessary for those who have gone before us into Purgatory. How important it is to pray for them.

One of our shipmates, Susan Tassone, has written extensively on Purgatory. She was given her mission to present the needs of the Souls in Purgatory to the world when she was in Medjugorje. This mission has led Susan on a very difficult road. She has written many books on Purgatory and she now gives talks all over the US, spreading her mission to pray for the Souls.

This week Susan will be on EWTN, with Johnnette Benkovic. She sent me the times:

Hosted by Johnnette Benkovic, Women of Grace
Monday through Friday, November 21-25

Susan says it is important in this last week of November to pray hard, so that we can get as many souls as possible into heaven at Christmas. Our Lady once said "The most souls are released on Christmas Day, not all Soul's Day!"

Our Lady suggests the 7-7-7 as a good prayer for the souls! Let's pray it today!

Mary TV November 21, 2016 Reflection - The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2016

The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Dear Family of Mary!

Today we remember the Sacred Tradition of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Temple. Mary's parents, Ann and Joachim, had prayed to God for a child, and promised to offer that child to His service. And so when Mary was about 3 years old, they brought her to the Temple to server and pray. It is said that Mary attained perfect reason at a very early age, and so she could make this same offering herself. How brave Mary must have been!

Our Lady sometimes gives us glimpses into her life in her messages. She tells us things about herself as a way to teach us how we should be. Here is one such messages:

March 18, 2016

"Dear children, with a motherly heart filled with love for you, my children, I desire to teach you complete trust in God the Father. I desire for you to learn by an internal gaze and internal listening to follow God's will. I desire for you to learn to boundlessly trust in His mercy and His love, as I always trusted. Therefore, my children, cleanse your hearts. Free yourselves from everything that binds you to only what is earthly and permit what is of God to form your life by your prayer and sacrifice so that God's Kingdom may be in your heart; that you may begin to live proceeding from God the Father; that you may always strive to walk with my Son. But for all of this, my children, you must be poor in spirit and filled with love and mercy. You must have pure and simple hearts and always be ready to serve. My children, listen to me, I speak for your salvation. Thank you."

Each line of this messages seems to come from what Our Lady learned as she served in the Temple as a child. She must have been taught "complete trust in God the Father" as she lived those early years away from her parents. She must have learned how to follow God's will by "an internal gaze and internal listening!" Without her parents to turn to, Our Lady must have gone deep into prayer.  She tells us, "I desire for you to learn to boundlessly trust in His mercy and His love, as I always trusted." She wants us to follow her example of trust in God. Her life in service in the Temple must have required a high degree of trust in the Lord.

She continues with such good advice:

"Cleanse your hearts..."
"Free yourselves from everything that binds you to only what is earthly..."
"Permit what is of God to form your life by your prayer and sacrifice..."

We can imagine that life in the Temple was not easy, and helped Mary to grow in mature self-donation to God.

"...that you may begin to live proceeding from God the Father..."
"...That you may always strive to walk with my son..."
"...But for all of this, my children, you must be poor in spirit and filled with love and mercy. You must have pure and simple hearts and always be ready to serve...."

Our Lady lived this way from her very early life, and she knows what she is talking about. If we imagine her living in the temple, serving and praying day in and day out, these words take on a depth of meaning for us.  She was prepared to be the Mother of Jesus through her sacrificial life in the Temple, her poverty of spirit was deep, enabling her to endure the hardships and loneliness her life there entailed.  Our Lady never expects anything of us that she has not already lived!!

Little Mary, teach us by your Presentation in the Temple, to follow your example. Help us to trust in the Father completely, boundlessly, as you did. Help us to cleanse our hearts, freeing them from what is earthly, so that we can be formed by the Lord through prayer and sacrifice. Help us to learn to live our lives proceeding from the Father and walking with your Son. Pray that we can be poor in spirit as you are. That we will have pure and simple hearts that are always ready to serve. We want to become pure and simple like You, Mother. Please don't give up on us, but pour out the graces that God gives you upon us. We honor you, O Blessed Virgin Mary. Make our hearts like your heart! Amen.

Mary TV November 19, 2016 Reflection - Novena to Divine Mercy Day 9

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2016

Blessed Virgin Mary
Novena Day 9

Dear Family of Mary!

On this last day of the Novena to Divine Mercy, we near the very end of the Jubilee Year of Mercy. It seems that we have left the most difficult prayer intention for last, even at the very end of the year. It is for Lukewarm souls. Listen to this plea from Our Lady, given so early in the apparitions:

Sunday, November 6, 1983
To Jelena:
"Where are the prayers which you addressed to me? My clothes were sparkling. Behold them soaked with tears. Oh, if you would know how the world today is plunged into sin. It seems to you that the world sins no longer, because here, you live in a peaceful world where there is no confusion or perversity. If you knew how lukewarm they are in their faith, how many do not listen to Jesus. Oh, if you knew how much I suffer, you would sin no more. Oh, how I need your prayers. Pray!"

Our world seems to be even more lost in sin, more confused about the good, more indifferent to Jesus and His love. We pray that this Year of Mercy will bring a change, a reawakening of the faith in our Church and in the world.

Novena, Day 9

"Today bring to Me the Souls who have become Lukewarm, and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. These souls wound My Heart most painfully. My soul suffered the most dreadful loathing in the Garden of Olives because of lukewarm souls. They were the reason I cried out: 'Father, take this cup away from Me, if it be Your will.' For them, the last hope of salvation is to run to My mercy."
Most compassionate Jesus, You are Compassion Itself. I bring lukewarm souls into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart. In this fire of Your pure love, let these tepid souls who, like corpses, filled You with such deep loathing, be once again set aflame. O Most Compassionate Jesus, exercise the omnipotence of Your mercy and draw them into the very ardor of Your love, and bestow upon them the gift of holy love, for nothing is beyond Your power.
Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon lukewarm souls who are nonetheless enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Father of Mercy, I beg You by the bitter Passion of Your Son and by His three-hour agony on the Cross: Let them, too, glorify the abyss of Your mercy. Amen.

Tomorrow as the Holy Father closes the Jubilee Year of Mercy, let's pray that the Father in Heaven will not close the door to His Heart, but increase His Mercy until it floods the world with graces for all people.

Thank you for praying with us, and God bless you abundantly!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

The Dedication of the Basilicas of Sts. Peter and Paul, St. Rose Philippine Duchesne

Dear Family of Mary!
It is especially moving to pray for the souls in Purgatory today. In November we dedicate ourselves to praying for our loved ones who have passed away. As Our Lady says, "For ever soul prayer and grace are necessary to reach God and the love of God." It is our fervent prayer that all souls reach heaven, especially those who now are suffering in Purgatory.
November 6, 1986 "Dear children! Today I wish to call you to pray daily for souls in purgatory. For every soul prayer and grace are necessary to reach God and the love of God. By doing this, dear children, you obtain new intercessors who will help you in life to realize that all the earthly things are not important for you, that only Heaven is that for which it is necessary to strive. Therefore, dear children, pray without ceasing that you may be able to help yourselves and the others to whom your prayers will bring joy. Thank you for having responded to my call."

Novena Day 8
"Today bring to Me the Souls who are in the prison of Purgatory, and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. Let the torrents of My Blood cool down their scorching flames. All these souls are greatly loved by Me. They are making retribution to My justice. It is in your power to bring them relief. Draw all the indulgences from the treasury of My Church and offer them on their behalf. Oh, if you only knew the torments they suffer, you would continually offer for them the alms of the spirit and pay off their debt to My justice."
Most Merciful Jesus, You Yourself have said that You desire mercy; so I bring into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls in Purgatory, souls who are very dear to You, and yet, who must make retribution to Your justice. May the streams of Blood and Water which gushed forth from Your Heart put out the flames of Purgatory, that there, too, the power of Your mercy may be celebrated.
Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls suffering in Purgatory, who are enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. I beg You, by the sorrowful Passion of Jesus Your Son, and by all the bitterness with which His most sacred Soul was flooded: Manifest Your mercy to the souls who are under Your just scrutiny. Look upon them in no other way but only through the Wounds of Jesus, Your dearly beloved Son; for we firmly believe that there is no limit to Your goodness and compassion. Amen.

Mary TV November 17, 2016 Reflection - Novena to Divine Mercy Day 7

St. Elizabeth of Hungary
Divine Mercy Novena, Day 7

Dear Family of Mary!

Today, the Lord asked St. Faustina to pray for all those who "especially venerate and glorify My Mercy". On this day Jesus wants to bless those who actually live Mercy as their way of life. Our Lady has called us to this very way of life:

March 18, 2001
The apparition lasted 5 minutes from 9:45am to 9:50am. Our Lady blessed everyone and gave a message. She was resolute and clear in Her words.

"Dear children! Today I call you to love and mercy. Give love to each other as your Father gives it to you. Be merciful (pause) - with the heart. Do good works, not permitting them to wait for you too long. Every mercy that comes from the heart brings you closer to my Son."

Our Lady was resolute and clear in Her words because this was very important! This call was decisive for our times. We are living in the time of Mercy, and it is Mercy that will triumph through us if we let it. She needs us to be Mercy, like her Son is Mercy. Jesus needs us to extol His Mercy and adore it, because it is the last grace, the final gift to the world!

Divine Mercy Novena, Day 7
Today bring to Me THE SOULS WHO ESPECIALLY VENERATE AND GLORIFY MY MERCY, and immerse them in My mercy. These souls sorrowed most over my Passion and entered most deeply into My spirit. They are living images of My Compassionate Heart. These souls will shine with a special brightness in the next life. Not one of them will go into the fire of hell. I shall particularly defend each one of them at the hour of death.
Most Merciful Jesus, whose Heart is Love Itself, receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who particularly extol and venerate the greatness of Your mercy. These souls are mighty with the very power of God Himself. In the midst of all afflictions and adversities they go forward, confident of Your mercy; and united to You, O Jesus, they carry all mankind on their shoulders. These souls will not be judged severely, but Your mercy will embrace them as they depart from this life.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls who glorify and venerate Your greatest attribute, that of Your fathomless mercy, and who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls are a living Gospel; their hands are full of deeds of mercy, and their hearts, overflowing with joy, sing a canticle of mercy to You, O Most High! I beg You O God:

Show them Your mercy according to the hope and trust they have placed in You. Let there be accomplished in them the promise of Jesus, who said to them that during their life, but especially at the hour of death, the souls who will venerate this fathomless mercy of His, He, Himself, will defend as His glory. Amen.

Oh Jesus, Divine Mercy, may we become like You, through love. May we extol Your Mercy with our hearts and our actions. O Jesus, Divine Mercy, we adore You!

Divine Mercy Novena Day 6
St. Margaret of Scotland, St. Gertrude

Dear Family of Mary!!

Day 6! We pray today for "The Meek and Humble Souls and the Souls of Little Children!" In the mystery of God's plan, it is these souls that triumph! Jesus led the way, teaching us how to live meekness and humility, saying: "Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for your selves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light" (Mt 11:28-30). The Lord of all Creation was humble and meek, and proclaimed it the very road on which we should travel if we want to reign with Him.

Our Lady herself has called us to that victorious and heavenly road:

July 2, 2007 "Dear children! In the great love of God, I come to you today to lead you on the way of humility and meekness. The first station on that way, my children, is confession. Reject your arrogance and kneel down before my Son. Comprehend, my children, that you have nothing and you can do nothing. The only thing that you have and that you possess is sin. Be cleansed and accept meekness and humility. My Son could have won with strength, but He chose meekness, humility and love. Follow my Son and give me your hands so that, together, we may climb the mountain* and win. Thank you."

*Our Lady referred to this as a spiritual climb.

Divine Mercy Novena, Day 6

Today bring to Me THE MEEK AND HUMBLE SOULS AND THE SOULS OF LITTLE CHILDREN, and immerse them in My mercy. These souls most closely resemble My Heart. They strengthened Me during My bitter agony. I saw them as earthly Angels, who will keep vigil at My altars. I pour out upon them whole torrents of grace. Only the humble soul is capable of receiving My grace. I favor humble souls with My confidence.
Most Merciful Jesus, You yourself have said, "Learn from Me for I am meek and humble of heart." Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart all meek and humble souls and the souls of little children. These souls send all heaven into ecstasy and they are the heavenly Father's favorites. They are a sweet-smelling bouquet before the throne of God; God Himself takes delight in their fragrance. These souls have a permanent abode in Your Most Compassionate Heart, O Jesus, and they unceasingly sing out a hymn of love and mercy.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon meek souls, upon humble souls, and upon little children who are enfolded in the abode which is the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls bear the closest resemblance to Your Son. Their fragrance rises from the earth and reaches Your very throne. Father of mercy and of all goodness, I beg You by the love You bear these souls and by the delight You take in them: Bless the whole world, that all souls together may sing out the praises of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.

Novena Day 5

Dear Family of Mary!

Today we pray for those who have separated themselves from the Church. Many of us have family members and relatives who have chosen this path. Together we can lift all of them up to the Lord and His mercy. May they be healed and drawn into the Truth, into the unity of the love of God!!

Our Lady speaks words of encouragement in this message:

January 02, 2015 "Dear children, I am here among you as a mother who desires to help you to come to know the truth. While I lived your life on earth I had knowledge of the truth, and by this alone, a piece of Heaven on earth. That is why I desire the same for you, my children. The Heavenly Father desires pure hearts filled with the knowledge of the truth. He desires for you to love all those whom you meet, because I also love my Son in all of you. This is the beginning of coming to know the truth. Many false truths are being offered to you. You will overcome them with a heart cleansed by fasting, prayer, penance and the Gospel. This is the only truth and it is the truth which my Son left you. You do not need to examine it much. What is asked of you, as I also have done, is to love and to give. My children, if you love, your heart will be a home for my Son and me, and the words of my Son will be the guiding light in your life. My children, I will make use of you, apostles of love, to help all of my children to come to know the truth. My children, I have always prayed for the Church of my Son, and so I also ask the same of you. Pray that your shepherds may come to shine forth with the love of my Son. Thank you."

Divine Mercy Novena, Day 5

Today bring to Me THE SOULS OF THOSE WHO HAVE SEPARATED THEMSELVES FROM MY CHURCH and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. During My bitter Passion they tore at My Body and Heart, that is, My Church. As they return to unity with the Church, My wounds heal and in this way they alleviate My Passion.
Most Merciful Jesus, Goodness Itself, You do not refuse light to those who seek it of You. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Church. Draw them by Your light into the unity of the Church, and do not let them escape from the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart; but bring it about that they, too, come to glorify the generosity of Your mercy.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Son's Church, who have squandered Your blessings and misused Your graces by obstinately persisting in their errors. Do not look upon their errors, but upon the love of Your own Son and upon His bitter Passion, which He underwent for their sake, since they, too, are enclosed in His Most Compassionate Heart. Bring it about that they also may glorify Your great mercy for endless ages. Amen.

Novena Day 4

Dear Family of Mary!

The Divine Mercy Novena, Day 4! Today we pray for those who do not believe in God, those who do not yet know Him. This is the great mission that Mirjana Soldo has been given. Here is a recent message Our Lady gave us through Mirjana which captures this great mission and our part in it:

April 2, 2015 "Dear children, I have chosen you, my apostles, because all of you carry something beautiful within you. You can help me to have the love, for the sake of which my Son died and then resurrected, win anew. Therefore, I am calling you, my apostles, to try to see something good in every creature of God, in all of my children, and to try to understand them. My children, you are all brothers and sisters through the same Holy Spirit. You, filled with love for my Son, can speak of what you know to all those who have not come to know that love. You have come to know the love of my Son, you have comprehended His Resurrection, with joy you cast your gaze towards Him. My motherly desire is for all of my children to be united in love for Jesus. Therefore, I am calling you, my apostles, to live the Eucharist with joy, because in the Eucharist my Son gives Himself to you anew and with His example shows the love and sacrifice towards the neighbor. Thank you."

Let's pray with all our hearts today for the souls who do not believe and do not yet know God:

Divine Mercy Novena Day 4:

Today bring to Me THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN GOD AND THOSE WHO DO NOT YET KNOW ME. I was thinking also of them during My bitter Passion, and their future zeal comforted My Heart. Immerse them in the ocean of My mercy.

Most compassionate Jesus, You are the Light of the whole world. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who do not believe in God and of those who as yet do not know You. Let the rays of Your grace enlighten them that they, too, together with us, may extol Your wonderful mercy; and do not let them escape from the abode which is Your Most Compassionate Heart.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who do not believe in You, and of those who as yet do not know You, but who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Draw them to the light of the Gospel. These souls do not know what great happiness it is to love You. Grant that they, too, may extol the generosity of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.

Mary TV November 13, 2016 Reflection - Novena to Divine Mercy Day 3

November 13, 2013
Thirty Third Sunday of Ordinary Time
Novena Day 3

Dear Family of Mary!

Today we pray for all Devout and Faithful Souls, all those who are striving to do God's will and to love Him above all else. Our Lady is forming just such souls through her messages. Here she speaks to them with such love:
March 02, 2015 "Dear children! You are my strength. You, my apostles, who with your love, humility and silence of prayer are making it possible for one to come to know my Son. You live in me. You carry me in your heart. You know that you have a mother who loves you and who has come to bring love. I am looking at you in the Heavenly Father - your thoughts, your pains, your sufferings - and I offer them to my Son. Do not be afraid and do not lose hope, because my Son listens to his mother. Since he was born he loves and I desire for all of my children to come to know that love. I desire that all those who left him because of their pain and misunderstanding may return to him and that all those who have never known him may come to know him. That is why you are here, my apostles, and I as a mother am with you. Pray for the firmness of faith, because love and mercy come from firm faith. Through love and mercy you will help all those who are not aware that they are choosing darkness instead of light. Pray for your shepherds because they are the strength of the Church which my Son left to you. Through my Son, they are the shepherds of souls. Thank you."

Divine Mercy Novena, Day 3
Today bring to Me ALL DEVOUT AND FAITHFUL SOULS, and immerse then in the ocean of My mercy. The souls brought Me consolation on the Way of the Cross. They were that drop of consolation in the midst of an ocean of bitterness.
Most Merciful Jesus, from the treasury of Your mercy, You impart Your graces in great abundance to each and all. Receive us into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart and never let us escape from It. We beg this grace of You by that most wonderous love for the heavenly Father with which Your Heart burns so fiercely.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon faithful souls, as upon the inheritance of Your Son. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, grant them Your blessing and surround them with Your constant protection. Thus may they never fail in love or lose the treasure of the holy faith, but rather, with all the hosts of Angels and Saints, may they glorify Your boundless mercy for endless ages. Amen.

Dear Family of Mary!

Today we pray for the souls of Priests and Religious. Our Lady has asked us to pray in this way as well. Here is one message:

"...Pray for the firmness of faith, because love and mercy come from firm faith. Through love and mercy you will help all those who are not aware that they are choosing darkness instead of light. Pray for your shepherds because they are the strength of the Church which my Son left to you. Through my Son, they are the shepherds of souls. Thank you."(March 2, 2015)

Let us pray Novena Day 2:

Today bring to Me THE SOULS OF PRIESTS AND RELIGIOUS, and immerse them in My unfathomable mercy. It was they who gave Me strength to endure My bitter Passion. Through them as through channels My mercy flows out upon mankind.
Most Merciful Jesus, from whom comes all that is good, increase Your grace in men and women consecrated to Your service,* that they may perform worthy works of mercy; and that all who see them may glorify the Father of Mercy who is in heaven.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the company of chosen ones in Your vineyard-upon the souls of priests and religious; and endow them with the strength of Your blessing. For the love of the Heart of Your Son in which they are enfolded, impart to them Your power and light, that they may be able to guide others in the way of salvation and with one voice sing praise to Your boundless mercy for ages without end. Amen.

Novena Day 1

Dear Family of Mary!

This Jubilee Year of Mercy has been a remarkable time of grace! But it is not over yet! We have these last nine days to humble ourselves and pray for mercy for the whole world. Our Lady needs us to be her Apostles of love. It is love that will conquer hearts, nothing else. And so as we end this year, we pray with all our hearts that love will prevail. Our Lady told us in 1984:

Wednesday, January 18, 1984
"I wish to engrave in every heart the sign of love. If you love all mankind, then there is peace in you. If you are at peace with all men, it is the kingdom of love."

May the Sign of Love, the Sign of the Cross, be engraved in our hearts today!

Today bring to Me ALL MANKIND, ESPECIALLY ALL SINNERS, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. In this way you will console Me in the bitter grief into which the loss of souls plunges Me.
Most Merciful Jesus, whose very nature it is to have compassion on us and to forgive us, do not look upon our sins but upon our trust which we place in Your infinite goodness. Receive us all into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart, and never let us escape from It. We beg this of You by Your love which unites You to the Father and the Holy Spirit.
Oh omnipotence of Divine Mercy,
Salvation of sinful people,
You are a sea of mercy and compassion;
You aid those who entreat You with humility.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon all mankind and especially upon poor sinners, all enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion show us Your mercy, that we may praise the omnipotence of Your mercy for ever and ever. Amen.
