Dear Family of Mary!
The Gospel for today is a sobering one. Jesus speaks about the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, and why those mysteries are not understood by so many. He tells the disciples: "To anyone who has, more will be given and he will grow rich; from anyone who has not, even what he has will be taken away." I take this to mean that for those who have a heart to know God, the knowledge of God will be given generously, but to those who do not have a heart open and searching for God, that knowledge will not be given. Those who are not thirsty for God do not see and do not hear. They are insensate to the things of God by choice.
Here is the Gospel. Mt. 13: 10-17:
The disciples approached Jesus and said,
"Why do you speak to the crowd in parables?"
He said to them in reply,
"Because knowledge of the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven
has been granted to you, but to them it has not been granted.
To anyone who has, more will be given and he will grow rich;
from anyone who has not, even what he has will be taken away.
This is why I speak to them in parables, because
they look but do not see and hear but do not listen or understand.
Isaiah's prophecy is fulfilled in them, which says:

You shall indeed hear but not understand,
you shall indeed look but never see.
Gross is the heart of this people,
they will hardly hear with their ears,
they have closed their eyes,
lest they see with their eyes
and hear with their ears
and understand with their hearts and be converted
and I heal them.

"But blessed are your eyes, because they see,
and your ears, because they hear.
Amen, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people
longed to see what you see but did not see it,
and to hear what you hear but did not hear it."
There is a predisposition to hearing and seeing God, and that is having a heart that realizes the need. So many people do not have a clue about their need for God. They live as if God does not exist. Their hearts have become gross (fat and lethargic because of the world). It is for these souls that Our Lady cries tears. She has come to bring sight and hearing to them (and to us). Listen to this message she gave in 1996:
March 18, 1996
After the apparition, Mirjana transmitted Our Lady's message:

"Dear children! On this message, which I give you today through my servant, I desire for you to reflect a long time.

My children, great is the love of God. Do not close your eyes, do not close your ears, while I repeat to you: Great is his love! Hear my call and my supplication, which I direct to you. Consecrate your heart and make in it the home of the Lord. May he dwell in it forever.

My eyes and my heart will be here, even when I will no longer appear. Act in everything as I ask you and lead you to the Lord. Do not reject from yourself the name of God, that you may not be rejected. Accept my messages that you may be accepted.

Decide, my children, it is the time of decision. Be of just and innocent heart that I may lead you to your Father, for this that I am here, is his great love. Thank you for being here!"

Our Lady pleads with us to not close our eyes and ears to God, by closing our hearts to our need for Him. We can become blind and deaf to God if we do not know how great His love is for us!  We can do this so easily, by just putting the things of the world in the first place in our lives. We can close our eyes and ears and be those who do not see and do not hear God's call. And if we do become blind and deaf to God, we may be lost, and we will be no use to those who need Him all around us. We are meant to be their eyes and ears, through our testimonies, so they will discover their need for God and convert.
I am babbling on. But I do feel that this is a time of decision, as she says. We must decide to desire God, to seek Him, and to consecrate ourselves to Him. In doing this our eyes will be opened, our ears will hear, and we will turn and be saved. And through our conversions many others will be saved. They too will see and hear. This is all part of the Triumph of Our Lady, that we become eyes and ears for all her children, that they will see and hear God too.
May we be just and innocent of heart that Mary may lead us to the Father!
In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
