26th International Youth Festival begins tonight!!!

Dear Family of Mary!

"Dear children! With joy I am with you also today and I call all of you, little children, pray, pray, pray so as to comprehend the love which I have for you. My love is stronger than evil, little children, therefore draw closer to God so as to feel my joy in God. Without God, little children, you do not have a future, you do not have hope or salvation; therefore leave evil and choose good. I am with you and, with you, I intercede before God for all of your needs. Thank you for having responded to my call." (July 25, 2015)

I am sure that Our Lady was looking forward to the 26th International Youth Festival when she gave this message. You can feel her leaning forward towards all the young people who are coming for the festival, with such excitement! She can't wait to encounter the young people in Medjugorje!

She is telling them that she is with them! All young people need companionship in these days. This world is not an easy one to approach as young adults. Certainly they need Our Lady by their sides, to help them make good decisions, and to encourage them in faith.

She encourages them to pray, pray, pray...so as to comprehend her love for them. She wants so much to give them her love. Parents know the ache of wanting to communicate our love for our children. It is sometimes very difficult to do, especially as they grow up. Our Lady has that same ache! Only through prayer will this exchange of love happen.

She also tells them that her love is stronger than evil. Young people face evils on every side. The enemy does not stop at anything to ensnare them. If they can come close to Our Lady and to the Lord, they will experience freedom from evil and great joy!

Our Lady is a good mother, and so she warns the young that there is no future for them without God. Young people have a great deal more future ahead of them that we older folks. The future looms large before them. They will understand the importance of choosing the good, of choosing God in order to secure their future on earth and in heaven.

Finally, Our Lady again emphasizes that she is with the young people, and that she is interceding for their needs. They are not alone!! They will experience this in Medjugorje at the festival, surrounded by thousands of their peers, all drinking in the love of Mary!

I can't wait to pray with and for these young people in Medjugorje.

Mary TV will stream a great deal of the events of the Youth Festival. Below is a tentative schedule for these next 7 days. Please pray for our team in Medjugorje, as they will be working overtime to capture the beautiful events of the Youth Festival. Thank you so much! And pray for the youth!!!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
