Dear Family of Mary!

"Dear children! With joy I am with you also today and I call all of you, little children, pray, pray, pray so as to comprehend the love which I have for you. My love is stronger than evil, little children, therefore draw closer to God so as to feel my joy in God. Without God, little children, you do not have a future, you do not have hope or salvation; therefore leave evil and choose good. I am with you and, with you, I intercede before God for all of your needs. Thank you for having responded to my call." (July 25, 2015)

Denis and I both heaved a sigh of relief when we received this message on Saturday. With all the speculation and false reports about Medjugorje that swirled in the news and on the internet over the past month, it was a joy to hear Our Mother's words of love and comfort on July 25!

"With joy I am with you also today..." These words burst forth with optimism and reassurance! Our Lady is with us! She is with us with joy! She is here "also today"!! We are not abandoned or alone. Mother Mary is with us. Like children in need of their mother's care, we need Mary. Each day we look to her for wisdom, peace, support and guidance. She offers us her motherly presence to give us those very things. Through her presence, her powerful spiritual protection and her messages, Our Lady creates an environment for us in which we are safe and able to grow. Her messages are like a school for us all. It is a school in which we learn how to pray, to fast, to forgive, to serve, to bless and to love. We learn to be Christians from the Mother of Christ!

And so, with joy we want to be with Mary also today! Our Lady is with us, but are we with her? Are we open to her presence? Have we welcomed her into our everyday life? Have we consecrated ourselves to her on a daily basis, so that she can envelope us in her protective environment, her mantle?

Our Lady can only be as involved in our lives as we allow her to be. We need to respond to her. That is why she continues to say: "I call all of you, little children, pray, pray, pray so as to comprehend the love which I have for you." To respond to Our Lady's presence and her mantle of love, we need to pray, pray, pray. The more we pray, the more we will become aware of her presence and her love. The more we pray, the more open we will be to her whispers of love and encouragement, the more we will recognize her interventions in our lives, and see the fruit of her intercession for us with the Father. The more we pray, the more we will "see" Our Lady with the eyes of faith. Then we will truly understand her motherly love, a love that wants to lead us to God.

Today, let's pray, pray, pray. We want to comprehend Our Lady's love. We need to comprehend it if we are going to make it through these difficult days. We need to be steeped in that love, covered and filled with it. It is a love that is stronger that evil.

Along with our Rosaries, Holy Mass, and personal prayer, here is a short prayer we can pray throughout our day, to invite Our Lady into our lives at any moment. It is a quick consecration to Mary. We want to comprehend Our Lady's love, so let's pray, pray, pray!

"Mother, I am yours now and forever. Through you and with you I always want to belong completely to Jesus."

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
